Our Philosophy
Our company's primary focus extends from west Prince George to the eastern edges of Valleyview, and everything in between. Since our inception in 2015, we’ve revitalized an old mine, and have been committed to breathing new life into abandoned resources. Today, we stand proud with a fully operational production line that pays testament to our commitment and hard work. As we continue to grow, we remain steadfast in our mission to provide high-quality, sustainable limestone products while maintaining exceptional service tailored to your unique agricultural needs.
Our Team
Lime Stone Cowboys is a locally grown company in Chetwynd BC, founded by Kurt Strachan and Russ Young who are long time locals of this area. We have revived an abandoned mine from the 70s to become a fully permitted and active producing mine of high quality 99% pure Limestone. Our primary focus is in the Agriculture, environmental reclamation and construction rip rap supply, however we do supply product for many other applications such as pulp mills and water treatment facilities and rail road ballast requirements. We have undergone many tests and certifications to ensure the highest quality product to our customers in the northern BC and Alberta regions. We are an equal opportunity company that provides year round employment for many people in our community.
